Dr Liz Leek, GP

BMBS BSc (hons) RcGP DFRSH AFMCP

Dr Liz Leek, GP

Dr Liz is a A GP that has found functional medicine through a combined passion for Women’s health, lifestyle medicine, a scientific background and recognition of the limitations of our wonderful, yet struggling NHS. Her academic background includes a 1st class joint honours in Anatomy and Physiology, 2 Honours Prizes, and a Distinction in Medicine. She has a diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and reproductive Health, and is also a member of the British Menopause Society.

As a self confessed curious perfectionist, her mind does not rest until she can understand all the nuts and bolts to a process. She is therefore passionate about finding the time to take a step back and look at the whole person in order to identify the underlying pathophysiology. Her core belief is to use an appropriate, yet integrated approach wherever possible to effectively rectify the ‘fault’, rather than attempt to mask the issue.
